Mezza and KaffeRazzo

Here is Shutterchitecture’s first feature on the creations of the SM Development Corporation. The Mezza Residences, a four-tower condominium is located right across SM Sta. Mesa (formerly SM Centerpoint) along Aurora Blvd., Quezon City. It has a supermarket at ground floor and other commercial establishments for the convenience of its residents.

And I’m sorry for the poor camera angle. I took it from an overpass while on my way to a blogger’s meet and greet at the opening of KaffeRazzo, a coffee a few steps away from Mezza Residences (Mezza residents might want to check this out).

KaffeRazzo is located near the University of the East-Ramon Magsaysay Memorial Hospital. It’s a small but really cozy and comfy place, very perfect for a quiet time alone or with someone else. They serve different kinds of hot and cold coffee, both excellent for this unpredictable weather. They also serve fruit shakes and their original Pandan de Nata juice which I found really good. KaffeRazzo isn’t only limited to beverages for they also offer delectable meals like Porkchops, Chicken Fillet, Chicken Teriyaki, the all-time Pinoy favorite, Sisig and more.

I was lucky to have been invited to its soft opening for bloggers last week and I must say that it really is worth the visit.

Pandan de Nata, Hazel Caramel and Chocolate

finished in a blink of an eye :))

The food is as good as their coffee, I daresay. Look at it! Isn’t it appetizing? 🙂

There’s much to KaffeRazzo than just coffee and scrumptious meals. KaffeRazzo provides a perfect place for having conversations with friends or taking your loved ones out for a simple date. KaffeRazzo is open Mondays to Saturdays at around 10:00Am to 10:00PM (oh, I’m not sure about this). They also deliver around the neighborhood so if you’re just around the corner, you can call them at 517-5673. Minimum order is Php150.00. KaffeRazzo is also available for franchise.

There's also free wifi so you won't have any problems getting connected all the time.

MyShutterchitecture: The Columns

Today on MyShutterchitecture, we feature a residential/commercial skyscraper submitted by Marcoboi of A Dose of Marcoboi.

This is The Columns in Ayala Avenue, Makati. It is a mixed-use skyscraper with 30 storeys and 3 towers. The Tower 1 was completed back in 2006, Tower 2 in 2007 and Tower 3 in 2008. It has a lap pool, 2 elevators and even communal wine cellars. It is situated right in the middle of a business district right across the heavily-guarded RCBC Plaza.

I have also found a photo in my archives of The Columns so I’m posting it together with Marcoboi’s photo. Here it is.

Eastwood Mall

The Eastwood Mall is part of the 42-acre commercial and residential development by Megaworld Corporation in Libis, Quezon City.

This is why I don’t like pictures with gloomy and cloudy skies over it. It doesn’t have that “alive” feel.

OneE-comCenter

This is a birthday treat to a blogger who celebrated her birthday yesterday. I would’ve included this on the Mall of Asia post but this is so beautiful that it deserved a feature of its own. So here it is, Ate Chyng’s office. 🙂

This is OneE-comCenter (also known as SM Corporate Center), an office building located just beside the SM Mall of Asia. This 10-storey building was designed by Arquitectonica and Arch. Felix Lim.

SM Mall of Asia

One time, as I was about to enter the Mall of Asia, I overheard two ladies with a strong Bisaya accent talking about the place.

“Alam mu bang sa elalem nito ay dagat? Kaya mag-engat tayu, baka lomobog begla.”

Seriously?

And some people even say that because the land where the Mall of Asia is built is only reclaimed, the sea will soon engulf it and boom! End of the world.

These people must be really kidding me. Though it could be true (take for example the case of Japan’s Kansai Airport), it won’t happen in a blink of an eye. Hello! Why would SM build a mall somewhere that could do a 2012 all of a sudden?

So here it is, I bring you the SM Mall of Asia Bay City, home of the Philippines’ largest conglomerate and as they say, home of the “good guys”.

Seeing SM’s logo makes me think that this is a department store and not a hip mall. Sorry. You guys need a rebranding. Hire me! LOL

So there, I hope you enjoyed looking at it. 🙂

Philippine Stock Exchange

After I took these shots, I was approached by 2 SWAT men and a bomb-sniffing dog. Imagine the horror. :))

The Philippine Stock Exchange Building – Makati is one of the two trading floors of the Philippine Stock Exchange. It is located along Ayala Avenue. The main PSE headquarters, however, is located in Ortigas, Pasig City.

World Trade Exchange Building

Sino na`ng nakapanood ng LOBO, that telenovela from ABS-CBN? This building was used as the office for the House of Elle. Dito din nagshoot ang Babe, I Love You where the kissing scene between Anne and Sam was shot. 🙂

This is the World Trade Exchange Building in Binondo Manila. I don’t know if this is still occupied. It doesn’t look well-maintained.
